PyForge · Last updated October 9, 2026

The short version: PyForge has no accounts and no servers that store your data. Your progress and the code you write stay on your device. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob; for anyone under 18 those ads are never personalized. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple.

Who we are

PyForge is an app for learning Python. You can reach us at sagarika125@gmail.com.

What stays on your device

Your first name (if you enter one), your birth year, your learning goal, your progress, XP, streaks, settings and every program you write are saved only on your device. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them. You can also erase everything from Me → Start over.

We ask for your birth year for one reason: to decide what kind of ads you may see (see below). It is not sent to us.

Ads (free version only)

The free version shows banner ads and occasional full-screen ads between lessons, provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect device information (such as an advertising identifier, IP address and app interactions) to show and measure ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

PyForge Pro removes all ads.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app asks Apple whether you have an active purchase so it can unlock Pro.

Lesson updates

The app checks our website for new lessons and puzzles by downloading a content file. That request contains no personal information beyond what any web request includes (such as your IP address), and we don't keep logs that identify you.

Code you run

Your Python code runs on your device. Some lessons teach you to call public web services (for example a free weather service). When your code does that, the request goes straight from your device to that service and is covered by its own privacy policy.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, daily practice reminders are scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

Children

PyForge is designed for teens and adults. Younger learners can use it, and when someone tells us they're under 13 the app limits ads as described above. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, mention it in the app.
